Filtering and tracking MOs (list and Kanban views)
Last updated Apr 23, 2026
In this article: finding the orders you care about and getting a picture of what's in flight.
Two views
From Manufacturing → Orders you can switch between:
List view — one row per order. Best for quickly finding, sorting, and editing individual orders.
Kanban view — columns grouped by status. Best for seeing the shop floor at a glance and dragging orders along the pipeline.
Filters
You can filter the list by:
Status (Draft, Allocated, Scheduled, In Progress, Completed, Cancelled).
Output item — show only orders building a specific item.
Location — show only orders at a specific location.
Due date before / after — narrow down to a window (e.g. orders due this week).
MO number — jump straight to an order.
Filters can be combined.
Sorting
In list view you can sort by:
Created date (newest / oldest)
Due date (soonest / latest)
MO number
Status
Last updated
Tips
Sort by due date ascending with status = "Allocated" to see what should be starting soon.
Sort by last updated to spot stalled orders — ones that haven't moved in a while.
Use the Kanban view for daily standups; the list view for planning and reporting.
